On March 4, 2010, students and workers across the United States will take action to defend education against increased privatization of K-12 schools and budget cuts, layoffs, furloughs, tuition increases and student loan debt. Last fall California students took bold action, occupying a number of universities including the Univ. of Calif. – Berkeley and San Francisco State. The action and energy from California have sparked the interest of many across the US, who then reached out to California student-workers to make their March 4 statewide day of action a national day.
